Material and Manufacturing Process

Material: Methyl vinyl silicone rubber is usually used as the main raw material, combined with gas-phase white carbon black and other additives, these raw materials give the silicone rubber strip excellent performance.

Manufacturing Process

Material mixing: Methyl vinyl silicone rubber, gas-phase white carbon black and other raw materials are added to the mixing equipment in a certain proportion, and after high-temperature mixing, they are fully mixed to form a stable mixed rubber.

Extrusion molding: The mixed rubber is put into an extruder, and extruded into silicone rubber strips of the required shape and size through a mold. In the extrusion process, foaming agents and other auxiliaries can be added as needed to produce foamed silicone rubber strips.

Post-processing: The extruded silicone rubber strips are subjected to vulcanization, baking and other post-processing processes to improve the strength, hardness, and elasticity of the silicone rubber strips, and make them reach a stable state. For some silicone rubber strips with special requirements, surface coating, printing and other treatments may also be required.

Application Areas

Shipbuilding: Used in the sealing of ship doors and windows, hatches, and decks to prevent seawater from leaking into the ship's cabin, while also playing a role in sound insulation, heat insulation, and shock absorption, improving the comfort and safety of the ship.
